About Us

Catholic Charities of Southwest Kansas, a member of Catholic Charities USA, has provided services for people in need since 1965. Our mission is to honor human potential through service, advocacy and invitation, in the spirit of the Gospel so that every person can experience hope and fulfillment. With offices in Dodge City, Garden City and Great Bend, we provide adoption services, pregnancy counseling, teen mom support, healthy marriage and relationship classes, counseling for addiction, relapse prevention, and mental health, economic assistance, and disaster response throughout southwest Kansas.

Catholic Charities has been providing adoption services in Southwest Kansas since 1965.
Faithful volunteers assist clients and keep our non-food pantry going on Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoons.
We help individuals and families secure and maintain stable housing.
Community organizations such as the Barton County Young Professionals, the Rotary Club, Club 1 Fitness, Prairie Godmothers and the Great Bend High School help to keep our non-food pantry stocked.
Volunteers help with mailings, the wine tasting, and many other projects.
Our staff members work in Great Bend, Garden City and Dodge City, and travel throughout Southwest Kansas to provide services for those in need.
