USD 428 Education Foundation Dinner & Auction

Tickets are now on sale for the USD 428 Education Foundation dinner and auction set for Nov. 24 at the Great Bend Events Center. The event will begin with a social hour at 6:30 p.m.

The annual fundraiser helps raise money for minigrants that help supplement learning opportunities in classrooms district wide.

This year’s theme for the evening is “Tastes of the Town” and will feature a walking dinner with samples from five different local caterers. The Great Bend High School Panther Jazz Band will provide entertainment.

Students from Great Bend High School's cabinet and furniture design class created a unique Ford Tailgate Bench with the help of their instructor, Travis Straub. The bench will be auctioned off at the dinner.

Ticket prices are the same as they have been since the first dinner in 1989 – $50. They may be purchased individually or in tables of eight. Tickets may be purchased by calling Schartz at the District Education Center, 620-793-1500.
