The Barton, Pawnee and Russell County Commissioners will host a National Interest Electric Transmission Corridor informational meeting beginning at 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at the Fine Arts Auditorium, F123, Barton Community College, 245 NE 30 Road, Great Bend, Kansas. This open forum meeting is planned for local governmental agencies and the public to discuss the designation process, route boundaries and coordinated response efforts.
