Pathfinders Program

 All youth will have the opportunity to attend both of our hands-on morning sessions. One session explores the healthcare field, specifically EMS. Youth will learn about wound-packing and a career as an EMS practitioner. Our other session will explore careers in the welding, construction, and plumbing fields. Youth will have the opportunity to build a planter box, weld the frame for it, and construct the irrigation plumbing that they will then get to take home.

Youth are required to wear long pants, cotton clothing, and closed-toed shoes for safety purposes. 

Afternoon sessions will provide exercises centered around communication and team-building.

We will also offer a parent session in the morning from 10:30 am - 11:30 am for any adults who wish to learn more about Barton Community College, K-State Extension, and the 4-H Program. 

There is a $20 registration fee.
