KWEC "Gifts from the Garden" Series

The next “Gifts from the Garden” adult class, “Impressive Pressed Flowers”, provides old and new methods of pressing flowers. Held at the Kansas Wetlands Education Center, July 16, from 2 to 4 p.m., the class is offered at no charge.
Participants will roam KWEC’s garden and prairie to gather and press their own flowers, utilizing the tried-and-true method and a newer, faster method. Using previously pressed flowers, they’ll create a pressed flower card/picture and learn how to decorate candles with flowers. Register by July 10, by calling KWEC at 877-243-9268.
