Kid's Day at Fort Larned

Every Saturday in June is "Kid's Day" at Fort Larned National Historic Site and it all starts Saturday, June 4th. The Fort is offering an engaging Junior Ranger Archaeology program from 2-3pm. This program is geared for students, 10 years old and up. Students will uncover real Santa Fe Trail artifacts that shed the light on the lives of merchants, soldiers, early pioneers and the tribes in this area. Fort Larned National Historic Site is located six miles west of Larned on Kansas Highway 156. Open from 8:30am to 4:30pm. There is no admission fee.
