Home for the Holidays Festival & Parade

There will be multiple events going on throughout the day! Here's a quick run down of what the schedule has in store!

• 8am-Noon: Last day to participate in $1000 to Explore Great Bend Contest
• 9am-4pm: Creative & Unique Craft Fair: River of Life Church (1219 Main)
• 10am-2pm: Dogs Day Out- Enjoy Sloppy Joes & Walking a shelter dog (Jack Kilby Square)
• 10am-4pm: Dilly & Doc: Pop-Up Market (1119 Main in Bingo Hall)
• 10am-4pm: Great Bend Cookie Contest: Stop in Rosewood Furniture Gallery (1607 Main) and get your cookie box to taste the various cookies at different businesses and vote for your favorite
• Holiday Shopping in Great Bend: Be sure to check out the unique items and hometown charm of the Great Bend Retail Shops
• 5:30pm: Home for the Holiday's Parade Down Town Main Street

• 6:15pm: Annual Lighting of the Mayor's Tree (Jack Kilby Square) Mayor Cody Schmidt & Santa
• 6:30pm: Ice Sculpting Performance by Reverend Butter
• TBA: Fire Bending Performance by Phlox Fire
• 6:30pm: Visit Santa's Around the World and see 24 life sized Santa's (1223 Main)
• 6:30pm: Tell Santa your Wishlist (1223 Main)
• Horse Drawn Carriage and Wagon rides after parade provided by Rosewood Services until 8pm
• Free Train Rides provided by the City of Great Bend 
• Pick up your Rosewood Golden Ticket at the Trail of Lights!
• Free Hot Dogs, Hot Chocolate, Funnel Cakes, Cider, Cookies, & more in Jack Kilby Square
• Announcement of Cookie Contest, Parade, and Window Decorating contest & Explore Great Bend Winners!
