Heartland Farm Open Farm Day

Heartland Farm will host its annual Open Farm Day on Saturday, April 30th from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
This come-and-go event is free to the public. Stop by to experience the peace, quiet, and fun of Heartland Farm! Tour the homestead and gardens, walk the nature trails, visit our gift shop, and meet our flock of chickens and our herd of alpacas. Take part in creative activities for both adults and kids, and watch a demonstration of how to spin alpaca fiber into yarn. Feed Highland cattle and goats from JCA Highlands. Heartland Farm is a ministry of the Dominican Sisters of Peace and is located an easy 13 miles west of Great Bend. Take 10th St. west out of town for 12 miles. When the pavement ends, continue on the dirt road for 1 mile. Turn south on CR390 for 1/2 mile. Heartland Farm will be on the west side of the road.
