FHSU Makerspace Kids Day Out

FHSU MAKERSPACE KIDS DAY OUT The FHSU STEM van will be coming south again from Hays for an exciting day of science, mathematics and fun. Students will work in teams and alone to design and make custom vinyl stickers, make a t-shirt of their own design with iron-on decals, build earthquake proof buildings, build straw and balloon rockets, make kinetic sand then have a geology and plate tectonics demonstration. They will also be bringing down their planetarium for an out of this world presentation. For lunch, students will enjoy pizza, fruit and a beverage. Snacks and beverages will be provided in the morning and afternoon. Provide shirt size when enrolling. Partial scholarships are available.
