Barton County Young Professionals - Christmas Party with a Purpose

Grab a friend and join us for the 6th Annual Young Professionals Christmas Party on Friday, December 9th at 6 p.m. The holiday party is one of the many ways YP members give back to the community, and this year's event is no exception! The "party with a purpose" will serve as a venue for BCYP members to create a "Night Before Christmas" package for a child in need in Barton County. This year's event is jointly sponsored by MPIRE Properties and Animal Medical Center.

Everyone who attends will get the pleasure of creating a "Night Before Christmas" package for a child served by Central Kansas CASA, Inc. Everyone attending is asked to bring a pair of pajamas (preferably holiday pajamas) for a child, and sizes will be provided following your RSVP.

During the party, YP's will assemble and personalize their package! Area businesses have provided extra items to include in the package, such as a Christmas bedtime story, hot cocoa, fuzzy socks, treats, etc.

After you've assembled your "Night Before Christmas" package, MPIRE and AMC will be providing a variety of seasonal cocktails, beers, and nonalcoholic beverages along with a Delgado's taco bar and homemade desserts. Following a brief program, they will also be giving away a 60" Samsung Smart TV! Must be present to win.

If you plan to attend and participate, please RSVP to Special Events Team Chair, Megan Hammeke (mhammeke@gbrc.kscoxmail.com), no later than December 1st to receive your pajama size(s). If we run out of PJ’s, there will be other ways to participate and give!

Anyone 21 to 40(ish) years of age who lives in the Barton County Area is welcome and encouraged to attend this free event! So invite a friend!
