Great Bend Alive is now accepting applications for the annual Downtown Window Decorating Contest\, celebrating creativity\, community\, and Christmas cheer.\n\nBusinesses and independent decorators are invited to transform downtown windows into festive displays. Don't have a downtown storefront? No problem   you can sign up to decorate a vacant window (availability is limited).\n\nImportant Dates:\n\n\n	\n	Application Deadline: Saturday\, November 8\, 2025\, by 5:00 p.m.\n	\n	\n	Judging Period: November 21 29\, 2025\n	\n	\n	Displays Must Be Up By: Wednesday\, December 3\, 2025\n	\n\n\nPrizes:\n\n\n	\n	  1st Place (Judges' Choice): $1\,500\n	\n	\n	  2nd Place (Judges' Choice): $1\,000\n	\n	\n	  People's Choice Award: $500\n	\n\n\nJudging will be completed by an outside panel\, and community members will also get to vote for the People's Choice Award.
