DESCRIPTION:Barton Community College's 55th commencement is set for 7 p.m. May 9 in the Barton Gymnasium. The ceremony will also be live-streamed via the Barton Facebook and YouTube pages.\n\n\n\nAfter brief comments from Barton President Dr. Marcus Garstecki\, Vice President of Student Services Angie Maddy will present the 2025 Outstanding Graduate awards to Paige Mink of Dodge City and Tierra Yohon of Stockton.\n\n\n\nVice President of Instruction Elaine Simmons will then present five Distinguished Instructor Awards to English Instructor Justin Brown and Nursing Instructor Heidi McKennon from the Barton County Campus\, Math Instructor Amber Bebout\, Science Instructor Stephenie Brandford-Clark\, and Instructor Ann Ingala from the Fort Riley and Fort Leavenworth Campuses.\n\n\n\nChairman of the Board of Trustees Mike Johnson and Simmons will confer the degrees.
